Q&A - Question

Using ZoomEx mode in a Button

Question
PetC asked on January 12, 2017, keyword: Viewer / Editor
Hello Tatuk Team,

I see that using "GIS.Mode = TatukGIS.Web.TGIS_ViewerMode.ZoomEx;" I have a different type of zoom in or out dragging up or down. It look like the zoom google maps does in button in/out or wheel up/down.

I saw also "GIS.ZoomEx" Gis has the property ZoomEx.

So my question is, can I use an event like a button and get the same effect of ZoomEx Mode?

I'm not sure i got your point but:

Take a look on http://samples.tatukgis.com/TatukGIS_DK10_ASPNET/Samples-API-General/Set1/AddLayer/Addlayer.aspx

It uses GIS.ZoomIn() and GIS.ZoomOut() methods.

GIS.ZoomEx property provides scale factor releative to twips while GIS.Zoom provides factor releative to pixels

Hey Tomek,

I'm using ZoomIn / Out to do zoom but when I saw the effect of "GIS.Mode = TatukGIS.Web.TGIS_ViewerMode.ZoomEx;".

I would create the magnifying and decrease effect that the "GIS.Mode (ZoomEx)" does when I am dragging the mouse. ZoonIn and ZoonOut is not the problem, I would like to know about the effect.

Can I recreate?
(I can create a private video in youtube and send you the link.)
