Tatuk equivalent of convert polygon to polyline with adjacent ID's

Question
BruE asked on January 11, 2017, keyword: Developer Kernel
Hi
In ArcToolbox one can convert polygons to polylines with output which provides the unique ID's for the adjacent polgons together with each new polyline segment. How can one achieve the same thing in TatukGIS developer kernel?

Thanks

Hi,

The is not currently directly support. We provide a number of method to analyze relationship between shapes but not to create/extract topology features.

On way to achieve this indirectly is
  1. Convert polygon to polylines  using TGIS_Shapoe.AsArc
  2. Use TGIS_Topology.Combine to combine those to shape forming a common polyline segement
  3. Or use TGIS_Copology.Union/Intersection/Difference etc to find each shape (and overlaping region) individually.
Advance topology analyzer is a part of Editor. We plan to add similar functionality to the editor later this year.
