The DK-ActiveX edition contains exactly the same set of over 2,000 functions and properties as the DK-Delphi/C++Builder VCL edition, and is designed to offer compatibility with non-Borland languages, such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, and scripting languages. February 06, 2002 TatukGIS releases the Aerial Imagery Corrector TatukGIS has announced the release of the Aerial Imagery Corrector (AIC), Lite edition, an affordable photogrametry product used to rectify, mosaic, and georeference aerial imagery. The AIC supports more than 20 projections and 400 datums, accepts SPOT, JPEG, TIFF, BMP format image files, and enables the mosaicing of unlimited multiple images into very large, wide-area coverages. January 15, 2002 TatukGIS releases the Developer Kernel v. 6.0 upgrade TatukGIS released today version 6.0 of the Developer Kernel (DK), which represents a major product upgrade. The 6.0 upgrade approximately doubles the number of functions and properties supported, to a total of over 2,000. Version 6.0 was released as a Borland Delphi/C++ Builder/Kylix VCL library. The DK ActiveX compatibility is still under development, and ActiveX support will be introduced with the next DK upgrade (v. 6.1) in early 2002. November 08, 2001 TatukGIS ports the Developer Kernel to Linux In response to market feedback, TatukGIS has recently invested the development effort to port the DK to Linux, using Borland's Kylix development product.
