Blogs Developer Kernel Price to Increase on April 1, 2026 Effective April 1, 2026, the Developer Kernel (DK) perpetual license price will increase by $400 (10%) to $4,290, from the current $3,890. This is the first DK price increase since June 2024. The Enterprise upgrade price (a once per customer organization fee to upgrade all DK licenses to the Enterprise level) will remain unchanged. Transaction volume discount percentages for license purchases and maintenance renewals will remain unchanged: 20% starting at 2 DK licenses, increasing to 30% at 5 licenses, etc. The price to renew maintenance for existing licenses (when performed without a lapse) will continue to be 40% of the DK license price and, therefore, increase proportionally to the license price. License maintenance renewals can be performed up to 3 months early. Therefore, customers with maintenance scheduled to expire in April, May, or June may avoid the April 1 price increase by renewing maintenance during the month of March. The DK license subscription price will also increase by 10% on April 1 - from $200 monthly to $220 monthly. Posted: March 03, 2026
